Big Plain Solar

Big Plain Solar is a 196–MWAC solar project, located on approximately 1,500 acres of agricultural land near London, Ohio. Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) is the project owner and will construct Big Plain Solar using First Solar advanced, thin–film photovoltaic solar modules. The project will connect to the First Energy Corporation’s transmission system via a new 138KV substation.
