Sam Mangrum

Sam Mangrum brings over 27 years of construction leadership experience ranging from commercial, heavy civil, environmental remediation, wind, solar and battery storage power construction projects to the Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) team. Mr. Mangrum is responsible for managing LRE’s active construction projects, handing over reliable projects to asset management and supporting the various groups within LRE for the growth of the development pipeline.

Before joining LRE, Mr. Mangrum served in multiple roles from project field positions to Director of Operations for multiple construction firms whose core business was Renewable EPC projects centered on self-perform services. This direct management involved approximately 4.5 GW of wind EPC construction and 2.4GW of solar EPC construction across 36 countries. Apart from Renewables, Mr. Mangrum has managed approximately 750 billion in environmental remediation projects across the U.S., Caribbean and South Africa.
